UltraCal Sea® features Sucrosomial® Calcium with calcium carbonate from red algae (Lithothamnion Calcareum), guaranteeing high absorption and excellent tolerability. The calcium carbonate salt (> 30% calcium) in UltraCal Sea is encased in a phospholipid and sucrose ester matrix, allowing it to pass through the gastric environment without irritation, ensuring effective intestinal absorption and release.

Sucrosomial® technology allows some unique features to minerals, such as an improved and higher absorption by the body, without causing the common adverse effects thanks to their excellent tolerability. Furthermore, the presence of this patented compound allows the reduction of interaction between minerals and other active ingredients and a neutral taste.
